Department Overview
Administration directs the operation of city government and provides supervisory authority over all municipal departments, which include Finance, Motor Vehicle, Engineering and Public Works, Park and Recreation, Liquor, Water and Wastewater, Police and Fire. Administration also provides assistance to the mayor and city council in research, problem resolution, and budget analysis. Administration prepares council proceedings and agendas, keeps records of all council meetings, and directs the preparation of departmental budgets.
