City of Hutchinson seeks qualified candidates for the position of Server/Network Technician. Duties include administration, Microsoft Windows network, routers, servers, workstations & printers, telecommunications, Local Area /Wide Area Network connections, hardware/software. Requires 2-year degree in Information Technology, 2-3 years relevant work experience, experience with Windows servers and Active Directory, Cisco switches, firewalls and Linux operating systems, knowledge of principles and practices in computer hardware and software, network, CD Rom, disk array and telecommunication systems, ability to explore and learn new technology. Desire Microsoft & Cisco Certification and Cisco VoIP or Unity Training. Pay range is $20.557/hour - $29.551/hour plus benefits.

Job Posting for Part Time Water Maintenance Technician
City of Hutchinson seeks qualified candidates for the 32 hour/week position of Water Maintenance Technician. Duties include assisting in plant operations and maintenance. Performs custodial duties at department facilities, customer service and water meter functions, assists Public Works department with emergency management functions, and follows all safety rules and regulations. Requires High School diploma or GED and 1-3 years training and/or experience in a related field, experience in maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment, knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques, including record-keeping skills, valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Minimum Pay Rate $17.497/hour plus benefits.
