local media outlets
(KDUZ/KARP, HCVN, Hutchinson Leader website).
A telephone message will also be available to check if a
snow emergency is in effect by calling 320-234-5699.

The snow emergency will take affect for 24 hours beginning at 12:00 midnight, there will be no parking allowed on streets and alleyways between 12:00 midnight and 7:00 a.m. A follow-up emergency may be declared , depending on conditions, so check to see if snow emergencies are in effect on consecutive days.

In the downtown area and in some other areas, existing parking restrictions will remain in effect and will be enforced.

During a snow emergency, police officers are authorized to have a motor vehicle parked in violation of the ordinance removed at the owner’s expense.
