Hutchinson Theatre Company presents Ivan Menchell's bittersweet comedy, The Cemetery Club for their 2012 Spring Dessert Production.
Directed by Bill Haas delivering six performances across two weekends,
March 22-24, 29-31.

Tickets go on sale February 20th and available online at www.hutchtheatre.org, Hutchinson Center for the Arts, or Clay Coyote Gallery.

The Plot: It’s the story of three Jewish widows in Queens, New York, each in a different stage of healing and moving on with her life. Once a month the three women - Doris, Ida and Lucille - meet to pay their respects to their husbands, who are all buried in the same cemetery.

Doris is content to have loved her husband well and seeks nothing more than simply to go on remembering him. Lucille has quickly dismissed the loss of her late husband and aggressively searches for a new man. Ida is in the middle of these two opposites.

The women are bound together by hurt, healing and the discovery that they are more alike than they believed. It’s a story of emotional strength and endurance.
