Gymnastics
This elementary level program is intended to provide basic tumbling skills along with an introduction to the balance beam and use of a spring board. Children may begin as young as four years old and can participate until they’ve mastered the full complement of skills.

Skating
PRCE offers a “learn to skate” program for children as young as four years old. Skaters are taught various techniques and skills as they go through the various levels of the program. The upper levels of ability are organized through the Hutchinson Figure Skating Association. The program is offered from November through February each year along with an abbreviated summer version in July and August.

Teen Programming - Youth Services
Hutchinson provides an array of activities for middle school and high school aged participants. Currently, kids may choose from a ski club, pool league, and several special events. PRCE is always looking for new ideas for this age level and we’d love to hear your ideas!

Indoor Playground
This is a drop in program for preschoolers. The Hutchinson Recreation Center is home to this playground three mornings each week during the cold weather months.
