Weather permitting, plans are for painting crews to start late afternoon/early evening tomorrow, Wednesday June 5.
Crews will focus on freshening up pavement markings in the downtown area before the parade.
The work area is Franklin, Main and Hassan Streets (between 5th Ave South & Hwy 7).
Work will start on side streets as businesses close and will then move to Main St during overnight hours.
Most of the work will be done using walk-behind or riding striping machines (about the size of a typical riding lawn mower).
There may be areas coned off for short periods, as necessary, to allow paint to dry without being tracked by traffic.
Please use extra caution in the downtown area Wednesday night into early Thursday morning.
As necessary, work may extend into another day.
