Hutchinson HRA Executive Director

The Hutchinson Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Executive Director.  This position reports to and operates under the direction of the Hutchinson Housing and Redevelopment Authority Board of Commissioners.  The Executive Director implements the HRA’s strategic goals/ objectives, administers its programs and activities and oversees all operations to insure efficiency, quality, and cost-effective management of resources.
Responsibilities include planning, program and policy preparation and administration; financial, records, asset, and property management; grant writing and other funding activities; and human resources management.
Requires Bachelor’s Degree in business, real estate, public administration, or related field and 5 years relevant experience; demonstrated experience in housing management, community development, public administration or a closely related field; and 2 years of supervisory experience. Must possess the National Development Council (NDC) Housing Development Finance Professional (HDFP) Certification within four years of employment.  Preferred qualifications include Master’s Degree or coursework in related field and 7 years of experience.
Current salary range is $78,499 -$117,769.

Part Time Motor Vehicle Licensing Clerk

The City of Hutchinson seeks qualified applicants for 16-20 hour/week Part Time Motor Vehicle Licensing Clerk. NOW HIRING FOR SUMMER 2021

Head Lifeguards $12.75 – $16.50 per hour Head Lifeguards are responsible for the supervision of lifeguard staff and patrons and maintaining a safe aquatic center environment. Reports to the Aquatic Center Manager. Seasonal position, up to 40 or more hours/week, beginning in early May and ending in September. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Lifeguard/WSI Instructor $10.50 – $11.00 per hour Responsible for monitoring the pool, deck and park patrons to maintain a safe aquatic center environment, and providing swimming instruction. Must be a certified lifeguard and 15 years of age or older by May 2021. WSI Instructors must be 16 years of age or older.

Concession Worker $10.08 – $10.50 per hour Responsible for preparing and service food and beverages and for providing excellent customer service to the Aquatic Center and/or Roberts Park Guests. Must be 15 years of age or older.

These are seasonal positions beginning in May and ending in September, unless otherwise noted. Scheduled shifts include days, evenings, weekends and holidays. The Hutchinson Aquatic Center is an outdoor facility, requiring work in all types of weather conditions.

River Rentals $10.08-10.50 per hour. Responsible for the daily operation of the paddle sport rentals at Masonic/West River campground. Assists guests/groups with rental of various equipment used for recreation on the river. Must be 15 years of age or older.
