to the qualified voters of the City of Hutchinson, Minnesota, who may desire to be a candidate for City Office at the Special Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. The office of Council Seat #3 – remainder of four-year term (through 2024) – will be voted on. If three or more candidates should file for the office, a special primary election will be held November 2, 2021. Qualified candidates must file an affidavit of candidacy with Melissa Starke, Election Official for the City of Hutchinson (or designee), accompanied by a filing fee of $20.00, between July 27, 2021, and August 10, 2021. Affidavits of Candidacy will be accepted during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) at the Hutchinson City Center, 111 Hassan Street SE, Hutchinson, Minnesota 55350 and will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on August 10, 2021.
